Happiness vs joyFirst of all, cheers to our 4 years of friendship/relationship!
I enjoyed myself greatly (especially at the Zoo) today!
I was thinking between these two... Happiness is based on temporal and worldy things but joy comes from having Jesus in my life. Happiness is God’s gift of human emotion. But Jesus did not die on the cross to make sure I’m happy, but rather to ensure that I have the joy of knowing and glorifying Him!
Let's stop and recognise the difference between being temporarily happy and having the long lasting joy of God!
