IGNITE

I don't ever want to forget what I've heard and learnt from Pastor Joakim.
I don't ever want to lose that compassion.
I don't ever want to break my vow to You.
I don't ever want to let distractions pull me away from my highest calling.
I don't ever want to be satisfied with a little praise, a little worship.
I don't ever want to turn a deaf ear to You, Jesus.

Singin' Holy, holy...

I don't ever want to forget how Your presence was manifested. How we could go on singing about You. How I love to sing about You. I thank You, because You reminded me of how much I used to love singing to You. I got distracted and discouraged. I doubted the talent You gave just because I didn't feel You using me to serve You. I was so foolish to believe that You didn't like my songs.

But, that's not true.

You love to hear Your children sing to You. No matter how great or small our voices are, there is a distinct way of how we sound that draws Your ears to us. What used to matter most don't now. I'm not gonna be bothered by how I sound, how I look, how my dance would get... I'm gonna shake off all self-consciousness and worship You like how I once did. I won't allow complacency on Sundays. Laugh at me all you want.

'I'll become even more undignified than this, some may say it's foolishness...'

You deserve all my praises, nothing can separate us now.

Attitude

There once was a woman who woke up one morning, looked in the mirror, and noticed she had only three hairs on her head.Well," she said, "I think I'll braid my hair today?" So she did and she had a wonderful day.

The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and saw that she had only two hairs on her head. "H-M-M," she said, "I think I'll part my hair down the middle today?" So she did and she had a grand day.

The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and noticed that she had only one hair on her head. "Well," she said, "today I'm going to wear my hair in a pony tail." So she did and she had a fun, fun day.

The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and noticed that there wasn't a single hair on her head. "YEA!" she exclaimed, "I don't have to fix my hair today!"

Attitude is everything.

Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

It's another festive season!
Can't wait to get my hands on the pineapple tarts, kueh bangkit, love letters, Bee Ching Hiang...
Other than the 'yummies', this is the best time to catch up with my friends and relatives.
I can't wait to see Mrs Goh.
It's been a year since the last time I saw her!
Hua! Let's go to A Mei's and Adeline's. Shall we? Shall we?

Yup, talking about the 'good old days'.
I will never forget how our schedules are fully packed after school. Going places after places. From Ang Mo Kio (yes, the letter hid in the sand) to Singapore River to National Library to Fort Canning Park (the bus ride back to CCK, the fish we saw in the girl's bottle) and all the way to Pasir Ris Park!
Heard this saying, 'One friend in a lifetime is much, two are many, three are hardly possible'?
It's amazing how this friendship lasted and I'm really grateful for you.
I will be forever be praying for you. That you will come to see the light.

But this new year didn't kick off as well as I thought and wanted it to.
Finding more reasons to get out of this job. (ARGH! Cheat my money!)
I was so encouraged by Pastor Daniel's sermon.
Yes! I'm just a few days into 2008.
A new beginning.
